Zoran Dencic is a civil engineer from Pirot, who lost his job after a long standing employment in a construction company.
However, that did not discourage him. His inclination towards the art, supported with education and experience, Zoran directed to wood processing and engraving. So, he started to work extraordinary engravings of the furniture, statues, but also to process ethno motives from Pirot region, like distaff, small chairs and other interesting objects of artistic and commercial value intended for the market. A chance given by the beginning of the HELP’s project he reacted fast and applied with his business plan. Zoran Dencic registered his artistic handicraft atelier ZANAUM. His donation was approved and he received the tool for wood processing.
Zoran participated in the International Entrepreneurship Fair for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises – “Business Base”, exhibiting only a few of his artistic products. Currently, he’s been selling his products throughout Belgrade, Smederevo, Nis and Pirot art galleries and ethno shops, but the real chance for his business expansion he actually sees in a development of the ethno tourism in Pirot region after the ski centre is opened.
